Weather:  San Francisco

LodgingHotels/Motels

Course

Each lap is 1.067 miles (clockwise) around the lagoon at Crissy Field with spectacular views of the Golden Gate Bridge, Angel Island, Alcatraz and the San Francisco Bay.  The course is flat with 60% dirt and 40% asphalt path.  (Distances are accurately measured using a Rolatape® surveyor's measuring wheel.)

The course isn’t lighted and we recommend having a flashlight available at night.  Crissy Field is open and a flashlight might not be necessary if it is a clear night.

Friends and/or family members are welcome to run some laps during the event to share in your experience.  “Pacing” isn’t allowed.   Generally, we want your achievement at SF One Day (distance and/or place) to be a solo effort.

No dogs allowed on the course. Please don't leave pets in your vehicle.

Transponder Timing

Each lap will be recorded using a timing transponder.  Please wear the neoprene bracelet on your ankle for the transponder to be detected.

Runners need to complete the full lap to receive credit for the distance.  For those attempting to qualify for Western States, you'll need to complete 47 laps in 11 hours.

Aid Station

Fully-stocked, self-serve aid station every lap.  You can expect fresh fruit, salty snacks, assorted candy, boiled potatoes & salt, chicken soup, water, soda, and Clif Shot Electrolyte sports drink.

The park doesn’t allow private tents or extra tables.  Chairs and coolers are acceptable.  We’ll have at least one 10’x10’ tent for runners to use.

The parking lot is adjacent to the course.

Restrooms are located adjacent to the course near the start/finish area.

Post-Race Activities

The 24-hour event ends at 9:00 a.m., Sunday, 10/26.

Awards Ceremony will be held 30 minutes after the finish of each event.

Patagonia Capilene long-sleeve shirts, tote bags, and goodies from will be given to all runners.  Each runner will also receive a custom award with their name and distance.

Awards will be given to the first overall female and male finisher and to the first female and male finisher in each 10-year age group (< 20, 20-29, etc.).  Overall winners do not qualify for age-group awards.

We will have Vasque trail running shoes, Ultimate Direction bottles & packs, Clif Bar products, and PCTR merchandise available for purchase.
