Experience the thrill of California trail running with the Pacific Coast Trail Runs at Rodeo Beach in the stunning Golden Gate National Recreation Area. This event offers something for every level of runner. With breathtaking views of the Pacific Ocean, San Francisco skyline, and the iconic Golden Gate Bridge, this is an opportunity you don’t want to miss.

Overview

All races start at Rodeo Beach, giving runners immediate access to the Marin Headlands’ spectacular trails. The 8km course takes you up Coastal Trail and returns via Miwok Trail, offering a challenging yet accessible route. For those looking for a longer adventure, the 20km, 30km, and 50km courses lead you deeper into the headlands, with unforgettable views of Tiburon, San Francisco, and the Golden Gate Bridge. Each course is precisely measured using a surveyor’s wheel, ensuring accuracy for serious competitors.

Race Day

Runners can rely on fully stocked aid stations placed every 6-10 kilometers along the route. These stations will offer fresh fruit, salty snacks, candy, boiled potatoes with salt, water, and Clif Shot Electrolyte sports drinks to keep them energized throughout their run.

Important: it’s recommended that all participants carry at least 20 ounces of water between stations for added safety and hydration.
